MATERIAL-25CrMo4

The 25CrMo4 steel is a low-carbon steel is also commonly called chromium steel or molybdenum chrome steel. It offers excellent weldability at the expense of thickness resistance. With adequate heat treatment it is also easily workable. The 25CrMo4 steel is a versatile alloy with good atmospheric corrosion resistance and reasonable resistance up to about 315° C (600° F). It shows good overall combinations of strength, toughness and fatigue resistance.
